The Adverrun AVR XS V3 is a lightweight contra-rotating drive unit designed for F3A pattern aircraft, featuring a more rigid structure for improved belt wear and a new main gear design for reduced noise. It comes fitted with the EGODRIFT 4025EC Eclipse Series 550KV motor and includes a spare belt, with the motor shaft supported by a bearing in the front carbon fibre plate and alloy screws used to save weight.
Designed for 10S LiPo packs, this drive supports propeller diameters from 20 to 23 inches and delivers ample power for typical F3A flight, with a helical Delrin gear and belt drive requiring minimal maintenance. Front and rear mounting utilise rubber isolator mounts to minimise noise transmission, and the rear mount allows for small side thrust adjustments.
