Coming soon. The Glacial V5 is Lassi Nurila's new full-composite F3A biplane, and Precision Aero Products will build it in Australia under licence for pilots in Australia and New Zealand. Moulds are being made from Lassi's CAD files; the first airframes will be built here.

What the V5 changes

Flat stabs: the anhedral is gone.
Top and bottom wings are the same panel, fitted inverted for the lower position: one mould, one spare.
Smaller canopy: the top wing carries the rear of the canopy shape.

Specifications

Full specifications will be published once the first airframes are out of the moulds. Designer Lassi Nurila; full composite; electric; contra-rotating or single-motor drive; Falcon medium undercarriage legs and Falcon F3A wheel pants.

First airframes will be supplied in base white or raw composite; a painted option is in the works. The firewall can be built to suit the Adverrun AVR XS contra, the PCK F3A Drive or the Precision F3A Contra.
